Current songs

DragonFly Jones is a song based upon modern terms of endearment. There is a love theme in it like our Grandparents believed, but it holds the socialistic valor of todays satisfaction motif. From a mans perspective love is to make a woman feel satisfied regardless of her background. If she was a lesbian, had addictive behavior, or was battered, having a DragonFly Jones is a fight for love. The character in itself was a martial arts instructor whom usually lost to his students and sometimes that’s how love is.

Decept1 was a group contest initially based on the original song Killem wit the no. The hook originally emulated this song with slight differences such as from N.Y…. and homey you gotta go but the artist dropped out. I wanted to pass it around New York City and make a mixtape from just this one song like One Blood by the Game. I wrote a hook at that point and molded the rest of the song to mimic a party around the original verse. I just put six hours in 5 minutes and grooved with it.

Que Mas is the Im a latino song, my Latin pride. I moyad the track with a dirty sample from James Brown, making it a darkskinned latino song. The song personifies the soul of the Latin American community in America.

My Manner is not the average love song. It’s a full compass 360 degree association of a life you can love. Its full of morals and ethics (brain food) and sensual sensations (body spice). The only dessert is companionship.

Monsta/Ill is a 5 minute performance compilation of low income economic awareness. I recorded three songs to the same beat that all had the same theme and combined them for live performance. It was not the initial goal but they all came to the same point so I ran it like I took off the lead boots.

Music Idols

Miles Davis was one of my Father compadres. We used to sit in the basement where he recorded and composed his music. I watched him perform at the Cotton Club. I got my Soprano Sax from one of his band members I believe it was Nas the artist Father. The TuTu album was a big switch for Mr. Davis that I watched from his home not the studio. He could not stand the electronic crossover except for the fact that he did not have to pay his band to perform, and he was doing something new with the music which was always his forte. These are the things he showed me.

Michael Jackson was a sheet composer, played instruments, lyrically untouchable, a vocal coach, socially oriented, music industry trainer, and a political manager. As a U.S. citizen growing up I wanted to be this man. I wanted to be Bill and Ted on my musical expenditure inspired to make music to change the world.

Billy Ray Cyrus became an idol to me while watching his lifestyle on television. After hearing about women from Miles Davis life I was appalled by the ways females treated him. On the contrary Mr. Cyrus showed me a traditional lifestyle while being in entertainment. Seeing him hold a simple family life gave me the ambition to try the entertainment industry and finding the right people.

Tupac Shakur is my lyrical idol because of the duality of his words figuratively making him like a street mason composed and squared. In plain text his sentiment was unparalleled. His words taught people as if he was a Christ like figure composing life in every environment he touchdown. He had his own movies before Michael Jackson each teaching about the urban environment. Usually we are the vessels of God this man was the water.

The Weekend became an idol for half a bar G class brain matter. The music we make effects our subconscious. I love science and never heard such a suave annotation of the actual grey matter . At this point not only am I a fan but a student of the art.
