Marko Datruth

Marko Datruth is a independent R&B artist from a small town Marshall Tx, he started at an early age of 8yrs old & realized he had singing talent, he grew up in a struggling time with his mom, grandma & older brother who has a sickness disorder called sickle cell, his mom struggled moving from apartments to apartments then to living with his close relatives to provide, feed, & clothed. Later on a few years after he spent time learning music, writing poetry, & songs because of the love he had for it. At the age 13 he decided to take music more serious so him & his cousin decided to form a group called 2deep. At the age of 15 Marko received a computer for Christmas as a gift from his mother on behalf of seeing the passion & love he had for music & singing, he purchased his first mic from a local Walmart to start his own studio in his closet bedroom. His discovery of music was priceless when he first heard his older cousin out of Dallas Tx singing gospel, so his love for it made it more simpler. Marko then started playing drums at his family church so it made it more interesting for him to do what he loves. Couple years went on, Marko at the age of 18 linked up with a studio label group out of Marshall Tx by the name of Dirty Rocks Burn Rich, he connected with them he they made hits after hits around their local region, at the time he started getting comfortable with the love that was shown to them but he wanted more then just local fame, he sung chores & hooks for multiple other artists in the area. The year 2006 hit his grandma passed, she was one of the reasons he kept the passion & love for music because she loved to sing. To present day Marko continues his success mission he's trying to gain for the love & dedication he has for music, he states he keeps his grandma with him in his heart & the struggles he overcame but still affects him today & still trying to get out of it in todays time. His inspirations are Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, blues singer Sir Charles Jones, Michael Jackson & etc. all the other legends who paved the way for good R&B music.
