Hi, I'm Markus. I have written and played music for decades. I've dealt with several different styles, but mainly rock and pop. The 80s were my highlight era and had the most success there and early 90s with rock and metal. When I write alone it's soft rock or easy listening. I've co-written a song that was released back in July called " All that I was hoping." It has scored well in worldwide writing contests placing 6th and 11th in " Song of the year" contests with judges like Steven Tyler, Gwen Stefani, Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys and others. I've worked with session players from mostly Nashville, all of whom have credentials with top artists. I had 5 songs from different bands in the past to get radio airplay and was offered an indie contract by a label. After a long hiatus, I got back into my music and haven't stopped since. I don't perform anymore, nor want to. I really love to write from home and let the pros take over my songs to make them better. My song I released in July can be heard worldwide on every streaming site and bought from any music app store, and requested to play from Siri and Alexa. The song is also heard in venues all over the U.K. along with random songs played in shopping and restaurant settings.  I have a new song to be released in February 2020 with a singer/songwriter style called "Girl".
