Bio:
In a nutshell, I’m a guy from a little town with huge dreams. I originally hail from the village of Youngstown located in the Western region of New York State, the youngest of five in a working class family. I’m blessed to a be a classically trained singer, actor and primarily indie Christian songwriter, having earned my BFA from a conservatory style theater arts program at Niagara University.I have performed professionally in several musicals like “ Jesus Christ Superstar “, “ The Secret Garden “, “ Meet Me In St.Louis, “ etc and currently in several Infie films including the tv pilot for “ Carmelo The Show . However, like many in the industry , my beginnings and roots were in the church singing gospel , traditional hymns and contemporary Christian music. I overcame a severe neurologically based disability I was born with and I don’t hesitate to share my story in order to help others who may be in a similar boat.
Through various family members and one of the pluses of having much older siblings , I was introduced to various styles of music and artists. But, musical theater was always a passion of mine . Up until the last five years or so, I had always performed covers of songs in concert . In fact , the previous album to my current Indie single was a collection of Broadway favorites, “ Broadway And Beyond “ I always had a burning desire to perform my own material and except for a few classes in both undergrad and graduate studies , I wrote my songs privately on the side. Through a chain of events, I ended up starting a YouTube program and was blessed to be seen by an Indie music label in Nashville ( hence the country flavor of my current single) who offered me a one-shot opportunity to record my song at the legendary OmniSoundstudios founded by Country music legend Marty Robbins. I’m currently working on and sincerely hoping to attract the right producer who will be willing to share my visions , smooth off the rough edges and help me get more of my songs of faith, hope and God’s unconditional love out for the world to hear
