Eclecticism would be a word appropriate to describe Dr. Christopher Lassiter who is indeed, much more than a singer. A pastor, teacher, business expert, and combat veteran, he has a wide array of experiences to share with his listeners through the intricately crafted songs he writes and sometimes sings! Dr. Lassiter holds an MBA degree in Finance and a Doctorate in Business, as well as Military training and coaching certifications. No doubt, he is a man possessing expertise in myriads of fields but at the core, his aspiration is to be a guiding beacon for the youth. Having invested his time in actualizing various seminars and developmental programs for the education of youth he has turned towards lifting his voice a trumpet as a form of expression and inspiration, conveying his philosophy through an amalgamation of the Gospel and Hip-Hop genres.

His admiration for the gospel has yielded the ‘Gospel Album – War Ready’ based on Alarm lectures, replete with tunes aimed at distilling virtuous mannerisms within the listener. He is also a co-author of the ‘Literature Lectures’ Album, a wonderful fusion of ingenuity and invention. Indeed, Christopher is in possession of a certified Humanities course “20/20 on Racism”, with various of his Collegiate lectures serving as the basis for his songs. A testament to the diversity in his portfolio is the ‘Dynamics Relationships’ Album, which derives inspiration from poetry and is based on real-life narratives.

Lassiter’s determination to advocate and his admiration for God are complemented by his fervent desire to achieve world peace and resolution of conflict. He indeed, an agent of change. His teachings mirror his passion, and his style of work reflects the inspiration he’s derived from the likes of B.O.B and J. Cole. Where Bobby Ray’s music encourages contemplation amongst the youth, J. Cole’s lyrics signify the value of truth. Without a doubt, Christopher Lassiter’s art aims to encapsulate both, serving as a memorable and thought-provoking experience.

Even though he stays mainly in the South and along the East coast, Dr. Chris seeks to lecture country-wide with the hope of disseminating his reflections on race, religion, and even economics. To further increase his outreach, in the long term, he wishes to gain eminence on social media. In the meantime, he continues to endeavor towards his primal goal of gaining international recognition as a speaker and eventually becoming a billionaire philanthropist, with the aim of achieving world peace.
