Jayce "KDS" Brown (born March 5, 1986 in Harvey, Louisiana) is an American rapper, songwriter, ghostwriter, and CEO. KDS comes from a family of hard working individuals. His mother, Michelena Brown, worked in corporate America doing billing and coding. His father, Harold Bradley, has been driving for and owning his own trucking company since the age of 18. KDS grandmothers were both registered nurses and his great aunt, Lillian Wilson, was an aeronautical engineer and instructor at NASA. KDS parents never married and he grew up under the care of his mother. KDS gained his passion for music at the age of 11. Inspired by the rap group Bone Thugs N Harmony. He wrote his first 16 bars at the age of 13 and has been writing his own lyrics and lyrics for other artists ever since. At the age of 22 KDS started his first record label entitled Sick Entertainment. The label consisted of various rap artists, singers, and models. Unfortunately the label never reached its full potential and was later dismantled and redeveloped under new ownership. KDS music career was put on hold at the age of 25 when suffered two broken legs as the result of being run over by a car after an at altercation occured in the front yard of his residence in Terrytown, La. He stated, "One of the hardest things i ever had to do in life was learn how to walk again. After doing something for 20 plus years then suddenly not having that ability anymore is extremely hard on the mental. But God seen me through it and im thankful that im able to walk today." KDS is the middle child with one older sister and one younger brother. He married at the age of 31 and has a total of 7 children. 3 boys and 4 girls. He said, "When i hit the stage, i do this for them. and for my fans. Without them i wouldn't have made it this far."
