Katy Tunbridge

Katy Tunbridge is an established songwriter, session player, backup singer, DJ and artist from Australia working with some of the greatest musicians and session players in the industry.

She writes, records and produces her original music in Los Angeles, New York and now Nashville. Katy Tunbridge continues to find new ways to create sounds in the alt pop, alt r&b and lounge markets and states that her influences include The Beatles, Sting and Joss Stone.

Katy has most recently teamed up with Grammy nominated producer Billy Smiley (WhiteHeart, Johnny Cash, Clay Aiken and BeBe and CeCe Winans), to write, record and produce a new album of all original material in the heart of Nashville, TN.

With players like Bruce Watson (Foreigner), Willie Brown Jr (Alecia Keys, Janelle Monae), Gary Lunn (Dolly Parton, Billy Ray Cyrus), Robert Peewee Hill (Billy Preston, Sly Stone) Blair Masters (Peter Frampton, Garth Brooks, Barry Manilow) Dan Needham (Michael McDonald, Chicago), Jonathan Crone (Mat Kearney, Bebe & Cece Winans, Danny Gokey) she is excited to release this new material in late 2023 & 2024.

The new recordings are coming out of the famed Sound Kitchen Studios, and Peter Frampton’s Studio. Mixing will be done by legendary mixers Mark Needham (Imagine Dragons, Stevie Nicks, and the Killers), and Billy Whittington (Amy Grant, Vince Gill).
