If when you hear freestyle rap, you imagine old school emcee"s using freestyle as an excuse because they just can't write? Think again. Judge All is fluid with his freestyle, eloquently diverse, and extraordinarily talented and his music is a refreshing reminder that freestyle music is a rare art form very few artists are able to master with the ease and confidence as displayed by Judge All. When asked why he chooses not to write and only freestyle, Judge All says, "because everything about me is as real as it gets. Raw, confident and unapologetic. The same goes for my music. What you hear and what you see is what you get. I say what I mean and I mean what I say. And I think the best approach is to be real and not portray a bunch of fictional fairy tales, because being honest and real as an artist is what fans and listeners deserve. And....... Because Shawn Heat made me. Ha ha! Judge All says "Music has always been therapy and a way of life for me. So, if nothing else, my goal is for my music to be heard around the world and hopefully touch the minds and souls of the listeners who need that same therapy in their life as I did.” Judge All's hope is that his music can be someone's therapy and source of happiness at a time in their life it's needed the most. The raw honesty and relatability in his songs are easily making him a top contender among rising freestyle artists. He was born and raised in the music industry and explains, "music and performing have been in my blood since before I was even born. My mom performed and sang on stage 6 nights a week up until she was 9 months pregnant with me." His mother and father were both founding members of the band Thunderhead back in the 1980's, his mom as lead singer and his dad played lead guitar. These days his mother's health prevents her from performing anymore, but his father, now retired and in his 70's, still plays lead guitar for David Chamberland and travels playing shows from Oklahoma to Tennessee as often as 2 weekends a month. Diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome at the age of 8, Music really has been therapy for Judge All, all of his life. Born Stephen Philip Manovsky, Judge All never gave up on his dream and continued to pursue his career in music, until he and his best friend and partner, now known as Shawn Heat, managed to land a record deal with WelKnected Records in their hometown of Oklahoma City, OK in early 2000. Known back then as Premeditated and Reckless, the duo was also given the opportunity to tour briefly with Tech N9ne on his Absolute Power tour as an opening act. Their dreams had come true. Sadly enough, shortly after the tour ended, the two young artists discovered they had been scammed by their then-manager Anthony "Ant" Brown, who owned WelKnected Records. According to Judge All, Brown conned him and Shawn Heat into signing a bogus contract they later found out stripped them of all rights and royalties to all of their songs and robbed them of all the money they made from their music sales and the Tech N9ne tour. Their dreams crushed, Premeditated and Reckless went their separate ways. Over the years, Judge All has struggled to find his place in the world without his music at his core. Years of gangbanging eventually got him several felony convictions and locked up for several years. Although the time he spent in prison contributed to his battle with anxiety and PTSD, it also contributed to his incredible testimony of perseverance and proof that people can change. Fast forward 20 years later, once Premeditated and Reckless, Judge All and Shawn Heat have reunited and boldly make their presence known as up and coming new artists, ready to shake up the industry and bring freestyle music back in the game with a vengeance. Judge All is currently featured on Spotify's Spotlight podcast and can also be found on every major music platform, from apple music and Itunes to YouTube and TikTock. His first two albums, dropped in less than a year, are obvious testaments to not only his incredible talent and ability to spit lyrics with natural ease, but also to his growth as an artist.
