Coming from the Midwest, JBlade uses his "cutting" lyrics to share his life story. He reaches out to the community by working with multiple charities' and considers himself a role model for the younger generation. For this reason you will notice at times his lyrics can get strong, but never vulgar.

In the midst of a pandemic when teenage suicide rates dramatically increased JBlade used his platform to release "Lay Low". An intimate story of his personal struggles with suicide.

After great feedback and an increase in popularity he recommitted himself to his craft and in 2021 teamed up with Strange Music's own Stevie Stone to release "Let Me Go". Next up was another feature this time with Constatine and Slaughterhouse alumni KXNG Crooked to release "Breathe". JBlade proves to us he is far from done by releasing "Dedicated" In May of 2021 featuring Rock N Roll Hall Of Famer D.M.C. from Run-DMC. Expect more releases and more features as JBlade has truly rededicated himself to his craft and continues to make a statement.
