From the west of Philadelphia, up and coming Hip-Hop artist Duce Geez has had a life of ups and downs. His cousin was a victim to homicide when he was 6. His grandmother would die in front of him two years later due to heart complications. "As a kid I would keep a journal, but after awhile a journal of a kid in the hood sounds kinda soft , so I converted it to my rap book" says Geez! The same year after interning for Radio One Philadelphia, he was hired as a board operator and commercial producer, working with names such as Michael Shawn, Lady B, Q Deezy, Poochman, Dc Todd, Kayla Moses, Cece Mcghee and the late E Steven Collins. After 3 years he left to indulge in a technical career but Hip-Hop kept calling him! "I feel that its the time, Philadelphians don't really know what to expect" says Geez.
