Iyah Tuggz is an independent, eclectic, all round, musician born in London, England spending his early life in Spanish Town, Jamaica. Born (21st May) sharing his earthly day with the late, great, Biggie “B.I.G” Smalls & Popular UK based Artist Kano, who have also been a few of the artist who  influenced Iyah Tuggz over the years.
Due to his dual upbringing, Iyah Tuggz has a 90s style of music (known to many as the golden age for Dancehall, Hip Hop, and slow jams/R&B Music) in a fresh way with a London spin, to birth a new, musical sound, and approach to popular music with a classic, authentic dialogue.
Iyah’s music draws elements of 70’s Funk & Soul, to 80s Reggae, right through to 90’s Dancehall, R&B/Slow Jams & Hip hop transitioning into the early 00s of UK Garage & Grime.
Iyah’s ability to draw from these different era’s of music allows him to fit into several genres/sub-genres such as Dancehall, R&B, Grime, Trap and most popular music you hear today, singularly, or fusing various styles of music, fitting into numerous genres simultaneously while remaining sonically open, or of no fixed genre.
