Galax C. Boy
FunkAbout
Hi I am Galax C Boy. I am a artist, a music artist, a writer, a singer, a M.C., a producer, a composer, a performer, a music engineer, and anything else that pertains to my music career. I pretty much do it all. I really don't have a main genre but if I did it would be hip hop because that's what most of my music is. But I love Funk, Pop, Rock, and Soul music. If I was to compare myself I would say that I'm a mixture of Kanye West, Outkast, Biggie, Tupac, Lil Wayne, Prince, and Michael Jackson. As of date most rap is very violent and dangerous. Personally; with my music it's therapy for me. But I also love creating that nostalgic feel in my work as well. There is not enough love in the world or true expressions of emotions. So I write songs from the prospective of a vulnerable person, just exposing myself trying to find the best solution for whatever situation I am in.
I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I started making music early, as a teen I produced rap records for local artist. I use to perform all over the city with my group at the time ( Paranormal Family Hench Men ) or P-Fam for short. As I got older I started doing styles other than just rap and Hip Hop. And it has been a journey doing everything on my own but some how I continue to level up. In 2019, I collaborated with another fellow producer on a album called (Pyroglyphz - Ethereal World ). Once the album was complete we kind of lost touch but that album is some of my best work musically and lyrically. And I very proud of that record.
What makes me (Galax C Boy) different from most hip hop artist is for one, I'm an artist period. Second, I don't want people to fear me, I don't want people to view me as a god, I want people to enjoy the music. I would rather be relatable than worshiped. I just express my natural emotions and maybe some people feel the same and sometimes not but it's my truth. And as long as I live in my truth than I feel like I am for-filling whatever destiny that I was put on this planet to for-fill.
