Big June the Skyskrappa is a raw, smooth and intelligent  heartfelt lyricist, who was born and raised in the city that's home to the NBA superstar LeBron James known as AKRON, OHIO. My height, which is 6 feet 9 inches, makes me one of the tallest entertainers in the music industry today. Growing up in the Rubber City, I learned the cultural diversities of music through my grand father. Woney Lee, who was one of the most valuable and  influential person that I looked up to when it came to playing instruments, such as, drums, piano/keyboards, guitar and bongos. What was so inspirational  to me was that he never went to school to learn how to play those  instrument but, yet , he knew what notes to play and how to play them while leading his band members as I watched and listened  in amazement. At the age of twelve, my grandfather past away and I didn't want to play instruments anymore but, I was highly interested in the recording side of music but , I had to wait until I was out of high school to learn the basic skills of recording, mixing and mastering. Because of my height and build, I earned a full basketball scholarship and attended Edinboro University in Pennsylvania. There, I earned my Bachelors degree in Communications. Pursuing my dream of operating and owning my own business as a music producer, allowed me to learn a lot about the music industry by producing my own projects as an solo lyrist and beat maker.  I've been an entertaining artist for 12 years, and I have performed with many different artists in the hip hop industry. From the local underground scene, to the elaborate and the most famous artist in the rap game today. Working with an artist known as NIGGOD THE URBAN GRUNT or NI7,  from LA,  we performed with SLICK RICK, TOO SHORT, WHODINI, DOUG E. FRESH, at the The Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio. We continued to do venues while performing with other local artist such as The United Nations, Prhymal Rage, Jus Mic, Proph The Problem, MR.44, LA Free, plus many others from the MIDWEST region.
