Earl Riggins

Hey guys,

At daycare, a rock band visited. The music, the costumes, the hair, and the freedom of movement was just amazing to watch. I began making guitars out of cereal boxes and rubber bands. I turned used-up paper towel rollers into microphones. As a teenager, I played bass guitar in the school jazz band. We played at a high school basketball game and motivated the team to score over 100 points. I tried to venture into learning how to play the piano but I was kicked out of class for telling the teacher off. I left the classroom and later tried to climb into an open window but got caught by the school principal. He didn't suspend me probably because I was the number one runner on the school track/field B-team. All I wanted in high school was to be a quarter-back. While my back was turned, my football was replaced with a heavier one and when I threw it I severed my shoulder bone. That ended my being a quarterback dream. Moving on. One day, my mother told my grandmother that I was going to become a doctor. After that, for some reason or another every thing led me towards getting a PhD. As a sergeant, in the military, I continued school and eventually got a PhD in human services. I graduated with a 4.00 average. I picked up different cultural ideas and concepts. I had been a Christian all my life; I visited many churches in Atlanta, Georgia. I sang in the Catholic choir but got kicked out by the priest because I drew too much attention. My guardian angel and I like to rock.
