E-Truly

E-Truly born in Fresno California as Eric Roy Hill. E-Truly lived was raised by a single mother along with his 3 siblings . Growing up in poverty area of Fresno Eric learned to occupy his time with hobbies like music and sports with the goals of becoming a pro athlete to take care of his family. He became a good basketball and football player but unfortunately the streets was a lot closer then his NBA goals. At the age of 13 started hanging with gang member and selling rock cocaine  thanks to one of his friends who had taken it from their older brother to make some money. Eric then name was Player 1 was not a stranger to fist fights and enjoyed the statue of being feared and respected but soon learned that being feared can get you killed !!! Gun shots and shoot outs was a day and nightly thing in West Fresno along with youth deaths. Eric Still tried to stay focused on his basketball dreams but late was more discouraged  as he stop growing at the height of 5'8 and stared working more on writing music and selling drugs to the high school kids at his local High School Eric Still graduated at the top of his class 2001. Attended West L/a community college but soon dropped out due to living situations. Later enrolled in San Jose job corps  to get a job trade thanks to the advice from his Grandmother. Soon returned to Fresno and was sent to jail for hit and run, reckless driving with two GBI's. E-Truly found himself in a place where the strong survive and the weak was extorted. E-Truly's family ties, street ties, and gang affiliation was well known in the jail system and E-Truly made sure his respect was mandatory (voluntary or Force) After a few months in the county jail and impatient drug program he found himself back in the streets with the goals of becoming a rap artists! After a fe years of paying to hit the stage at talents shows started paying off thanks to the fighting at a event. His name started making a noise a little more in the streets and was known to call people out to fight whats lead him to be shot close range in the back of the head! His near death experience fueled him to be more protective of his life and also became a testimony  in his music about life.
