Calvin Gilchrist now live in Trenton South Carolina been doing music for a long time started out playing with the funk group Carolina Playboy's, while in high school at the age of sixteen back in 1976,play sax phone and back up Singer and also played with the other funk group The Brass Rail back up Singer and sax, round about1985 I started out on my own started writing and singing all up and down the East coast around about 1992, started the group and was the manger The Spice Band played keyboard lead singer and in 1994 went back on my own and release my first single The Winner Party. and around about 1998 I manger the female group Truly Unique my daughter Amanda was the lead singer and I help wrote the single Day Dreaming it became number one on that station out of Greenwood SC WMTY, and they also went to the Aplo and I took a break from music for a whileand went to DJ and I came up with the name DJ About 2010 I started recording and singing release my single The Dirty Bird.I met mc Hammer in Miami in 1994 and almost done a deal with the Football Fourth Ninners and Deon Sanders also around about the same time with the song The Winner Party.in 2019 don my first vedio now playing on YouTube wertayk tell me why do people have to be sleep.recorded by Tay Tay and also my son is a good singer and song writer Kelvin Gilchrist/KG .
