Synopsis

Born Shaqkeem Joseph Jahleel Callum-Drummond in Montreal Quebec on March 23 1993, Dejazz grew in a multicultural environment in the locality of cote-des-neige also known as uptown. Having been born to a musical family Dejazz have been writing and making music at a very young age having wrote his first song at the age of seven at the promptings of his mother. During Dejazz’s adolescence hip-hop has always been a form of release and a medium for him to express his creative abilities. In 2010 a year before his high school graduation Dejazz released what would be his debut album no bad sound vol.2 through the label no bad sounds studios. Having release four albums, a music video and starting his own label lovelife records Dejazz continues to be an enigmatic presence in the Montréal underground hip-hop and music community performing at a string of shows and festivals and collaborating with

various musician both in Montréal and internationally. The future proves bright for this young and upcoming artist and entrepreneur from Montréal who continues to push the bounds of what great music can be and engage and provide inspiration for an audience across the globe.
