Born in N.Y. 1952. Lived most of my early years in L.A. area. Started playing guitar at 14. Wrote my first song called L.A. Woman and my father took me to capital records to deliver it long before the Doors did it. Years later after traveling to Denver and Salt Lake, returned and went to see how much to refinish a guitar I had would cost. Went to what used to be a old med building in Azusa Ca. and as it happened Van Halen was doing finishes for Fender and was in the process of converting the back of the place to a studio which he never finished.
