"I was born in 1987 in Dallas, Texas, to a single mother who raised four children against all odds. Growing up without a father figure, I often found myself in trouble, in and out of the jail system since I was 12. With no guidance, I relied on my wit and cunning to navigate the harsh realities of life. Despite my struggles, I was a voracious learner, devouring books on paralegal studies and US history. I even taught myself the art of jewelry-making, discovering a hidden talent. But my biggest hurdle was seeking acceptance from others, until I realized that true acceptance comes from within. My journey took a drastic turn with two stints in the penitentiary, where I earned the label of convicted felon. Yet, it was there that I discovered my greatest treasure: cognitive intervention. This transformative program helped me reshape my thoughts, behaviors, and life trajectory. Today, I cherish peace, living life on my own terms. I've come to understand that true freedom lies within. I credit my spiritual awakening to God, who saved me from myself. I've learned to embrace my past, using it as fuel to propel me forward. I am a testament to redemption, a living example that no matter how broken, anyone can be made whole again."
