After a truly epic journey through the loss of both parents, a fire and the pandemic, I have somehow created the most beautiful thing. I found in the deep darkness that saving myself meant shining fiercely bright. A shimmering jewel to honor my parents; or a healing sonic dream for those in need; or a powerful starburst of imagination for every one of us – Star Goes Nova is all those things.

And we somehow made it sound absolutely awesome on digital streaming platforms. I mean, it really, really sounds good - more than I had hoped for.

I’ve always thought of myself as an intrinsic soul, finding meaning in shimmering electronica, classical piano grace and dubstep beats. I create epic stories with real instruments, electronica and my 115 year old piano and grime bass music. My influences are Illenium, Porter Robinson, Yes and Pink Floyd.

I am fortunate to collaborate with the famous and the obscure, starting by touring with a solo project of Martha Davis during her hiatus from The Motels. My first airplay was hardcore band Tantrum, thereafter, I was known as a bassist around the L.A. club scene with Jan Kuehnemund’s (Vixen) “Drawing Down The Moon” project. I’ve collaborated with Grammy winner John Baffa and nominee Suzanne Paris, and platinum songwriter David Holster. I recorded with Charles Law, charting Top 10 on college radio. I also DJ on KPPQ 104.1FM and was awarded Ventura Local Hero for community music. You’ll hear fantastic collaborations with nationally known artists on my pieces.

I follow anything Space and often the Falcon 9 rocket or Hubble galaxy sonifications are in my music. Star Goes Nova is the fantasy come true of my technical imagination, hardcore rock band, EDM festival and high school orchestra experiences. I have majestic baroque Friesian horses, the black feathered Viking horse ridden by knights - there is also a bit of their ancient nobility in the dubstep bass of my songs!
