Briana A’mariah

Briana A’mariah is a musical artist from Springfield, MA and currently living in Atlanta, GA. She is living proof that creative evolution is one of the keys to maintaining longevity.

Living in Atlanta, one of the hottest cities for rap talent, Briana initially released her first songs in the genre of Secular music but has been in a relationship with Jesus and began to march to a different tune.

Her first musical memories are comprised of a childhood fascination with pop and R&B music records, with the powerhouse, Beyoncé becoming Briana’s first musical hero. Beyoncés ability to seemingly be able to play any genre with phenomenal performance , captured her imagination and soon set her on her own musical journey.

Briana’s early love of poetry was another factor, a love that is still present today, and so the transition into rapping, which combined both her passions into one art form, was a natural one.
It was when she heard and saw Mariah Carey’s undisputed classic, We Belong Together, video on TV the first time, that the spark fully ignited. Briana had already heard artists like Britney Spears, Christina Auguleria, Neyo, Ashanti and groups like Destiny Child, also Lil Kim.

When she heard Lil Kim, on Get Money, her sounds stuck with her and even remembers those perfectly crafted lyrics to this day. There was something about the way she had constructed her rhymes that really triggered something within her.
