That voice.  Spartanburg, SC-based Soul Singer Brad Keaton is an accomplished vocalist and songwriter, boasting national and international radio play and a Billboard-charting project on his resume.  And while his red beard, trilby fedora, and retro-cool shades may catch your attention and turn your head, his pure and sharp vocals will spin you around and shake you by the lapels.  Brad has a beautifully catered sound that is always well produced, well performed, and all of his songs feel comfortably familiar.  Thematically, his songs are all about love and relationships and appeal to a wide range of emotions.  There are breakups and get togethers, plenty of “oohs” and “yeah yeahs”, as well as hand claps and finger snaps that gives it that contemporary adult pop street cred.  Brad Keaton, at his best, parallels the Allen Stones and Mat Kearneys of the recording world - retro and evocative of older R&B while still being fresh and hip - let’s go with Modern Soul.
