Illinois-born Pastor Camellia Blonde Sherese Wood is an upcoming singer and songwriter who spins magical musical compositions through her words. As a child Sherese Wood has undergone several trials and tribulations: abuse, being ostracized by the church for being a lesbian, suicide attempts, working-class homelessness, and Breast Cancer with a smile on her face, love in her heart, and an appreciation for who she has become. Through her music, Sherese Wood aims to help and empower people to overcome their life experiences and enjoy being their authentic selves; knowing they are loved. Blonde Sherese has dedicated over 30 years to ministry and now has her own non-profit, “Ain’t No Bodies Perfect Ministry, Inc.”

Her first single release was titled “Why I Do” and was released in July 2020, featuring the stunning vocals of fellow featured artist June B. Her debut album titled “Underneath” is set to release on 1st January 2021 and is one that will encapsulate her stunning poetic song-writing and beats melded to perfection. Sherese Wood’s music is driven by authenticity. She strongly believes that she is far from perfect and works on the very innate nature of human being’s rawness and their flawed selves. Through her music, she produces relatable content that allows listeners to peek into the life of a strong lesbian woman who found her peace and love with the Lord and channelled her talents into her musical spirit.
