Revert Powell is a music artist with the stage name BigDatVert. He is a proud owner of his record label; Treasure Map Records. Revert is a hip hop and rap music artist who writes and produces his own music as well as those of other artists and labels. He views his music as a way being of service to others, entertaining them, and being a light to them in a world that is filled with so much pain. Revert has been in the music industry since the age of 9 and has performed with Grammy award winners Corey “boe money” Henry, Harry cook and Trombone shorty, and many New Orleans legends. He has also performed at jazz and heritage festivals and has worked on a Jordan commercial. Revert’s ability to create his music from scratch, through all the required stages raises him above his competition. He takes pride in being the perfect representation of New Orleans, his home city as he travels and performs around the world. His music career is inspired by his family consisting of a musician dad and other family members who are global touring music artists. Revert enjoys performing with his band; Trap Rock Funk during his free time.
