My relationship with music stems from a very young age, and a need to express the daily atrocities committed towards me as a child. I played piano for years, and after while I got burnt out. I quit til I was about 20. I invested in a couple pieces of gear I knew I'd need to build a studio. Over the next year I slowly bought each peice I would need. While paying down severe debts that I'd accumulated. I had to move back to my parents humiliating at age 23. The most depressing time in my life. Yet there I was, moving back into the family home. Full of trauma, violent memories, and suicide attempts, I knew it was gunna suck alot. Man I had no fucking clue. But the one thing I had was my studio and my music to delve into. So every day after my job at sourdough and co. This little sandwich and soup chain (bomb btw). I Would lock myself in the room i setup in my parents house, and just go fuckin nuts on the research, and practice of producing music, making beats, writing lyrics, rapping, singing, mixing mastering, marketing... shit the list goes on and on. Yall get the picture though. I fell in love and obsessed, deep in the fucking jungles of darwins theory, where many musicians don't dare wander toward. Now fast-forward to present day. I am age 25, My real name is Brent Kroes, everyone calls me stogie jones tho. I help manage a mcdonalds as a department manager in which my name is senior bigote (Mr mustache in spanish). My producer name Bfuze is currently my artist name and I've distributed quite alot of music for how long ago I relaunched my music page. My music is on all platforms. And I am so grateful for the work, and blood I put into my work, and learning this cryptic skill set. Taking control of my life was the one thing staying at my.paeents let me do. Even amongst the worst of fights, and harshest of words, and unspportive nature from my parents. Music was the one thing that kept me from pulling the trigger on my self. It gave me a way to balance my emotions, and past traumas. I can't accurately put into words how it makes me feel when I think about music and my journey with it. Im so happy I took that first step toward putting my past behind me. And for the first time I see a life without my past holding me back from who I want to be, and who I am deep down. I just want you all to know success is possible for all of us. Its about staying true to yourself beyond all else, and never stop working. You'll fail over and over and over and fucking over. But one day you start succeeding. And itll be worth all the pain in the world. Much love from a heavy, loving heart - Brent Kroes
