Growing up I've always dealt with problems being a child on the outside looking in always felt like I didn't fit in. I was a very skinny petite little thing with long hair and dark skin. Going into middle school and hitting puberty I soon became the heavyset child entering into a new school with no friends. I always had friends and family was always there, but there was just something in me that didn't seem as if it was real or Genuine. I was always the kid being laughed at or talked about I was always somebody's punching bag or test gimmick and of course with it became attitude and from their own I was hit hard with life and didn't let nothing get in my way or nobody say nothing without me ready to fight. Making friends wasn't an issue it was the picking the real ones from the fake.
Only had a handful of real friends that stuck with me from middle school all the way up into my adult life and are still current friends now. One being my best friend for 19 years and counting. Getting pregnant with my first child in high school and everyone looked at me to shame as if I was the only female that had ever gotten pregnant in school before but if you knew me, that really wasn't me. I let someone get in my head and my ear and made me feel a type of way i never felt before. Thought it was real but not so sure how genuine because I later found out he disowned our first child and wanted me to abort her. I let bygones be bygones and moved around. Raised our daughter with another man that I also thought loved me but was playing me the whole time.
I found my passion in life doing hair which at the age of 13 and graduated Mid Del tech for cosmetology. Also modeling at an early age in life and found myself doing fashion shows and more later in life, "and is damn great at it!" I started working at JCP salon right out of high school in 2008 with a newborn. I didn't trust daycares and didn't want to leave my child with just anyone but mama had to work. My boss would let me bring her and would even watch her and walk around the store all day with her. I instantly felt the love here and was treated more like family then I've ever felt in a long time. I met a man that changed me in ways I can't explain and some ways I did not like. I felt as if I was so in love with that man that i started losing myself. I slowly started doing more for him then I would myself. I was clueless as to what was going on because he had my mind gone and i let him take control. Ended up getting pregnant with our son and it was good and bad at the same time.  But didn't seem like the relationship lasted to much longer after I had him because everything had gotten worse. Started to get physical and I knew it was time for a change. I got back into church and the Lord started closing old chapters and opening up new doors with multiple blessings that I couldn't describe. Ive always knew my worth but it took some time to figure out. I started writing music adjusted and changed myself for the better of me, my kids, and my sanity. I continued to write and in 2020 a close friend that I've dated before and known for years told me to put it down. I thought he was playing but he put on a beat, I grabbed the headphones and went at it. I haven't stopped since. Only gotten better with time. But now being a single mother of 3, I strive and push everything I do and touch 10xs harder. God blessed me with multiple businesses and never let anything or anyone stop me from achieving my goals and I go above and beyond to make sure I do my best to achieve them all. Moral to the story I had to look in the mirror and say I am my own worst enemy and the only thing stopping me is me. It's time for a change.
