I never was professional musician in my native country, I was a Computer Science student, amateur Soccer player, and state employee during most of my adolescence and early adult age, during the 70's and 80's boom I became a "Salsa" fanatic and a very good dancer of this genre, I attempted to be a professional soccer player, but I wasn't success in that challenge, and then I decided to travel to USA to find out and live my American dream.

While I was trying to be legal in this country, in the daily struggle for subsistence, I found by fortuity a job as a singer with a music band of musicians of my country, and then I realize that I could do this as a part time, so I start my professional career as a musician on the beginning of the new century the year 2000. At the same time I got my Microsoft Certified Engineer Diploma and start working as Technical Support Engineer in an IT company.

I was part of several bands such as, Tirso Martin Orchestra, Los Bacanos, La tropa Costeña, Chagui y su Charanga, Grupo Caribe, Pachanga Yes, Doble Klave, Alma Vallenata, Sonora Tropical, Los Corraleros de Miami, Sonora Dinamita.

In all this bands I worked for years, and I had the opportunity to know several famous artists and very good musicians who taught me a lot of things and "tips" for my career, I learned from very good teachers and persons, then I decided to initiate an adventure recording my own music, and the project Alvarito y Son the Antaño was born; it was 2019 just few months before the COVID-19 pandemic appeared.

So for this circumstance we have been unable to do live shows or tour, only recorded 3 singles that are in the music platforms around the cyberspace.
