ABiliTy

Valentine Asuku also known as ABiliTy (February 18, 1993) is an Afro – Hip pop Rap artist that hails from Abuja, Nigeria and now resides in Ontario, Canada.

The stage name ABiliTy is a form of self-motivation as well as a form of motivation for people around him or people who connect with the music in different ways. He believes that if one motivates himself first then he will have a greater impact on his surroundings. ABiliTy grew up in a humble and hardworking family in Abuja, Nigeria. His childhood was spent around music or some sort of entertainment, it was this early exposure into music by his parents and other admirable folks around him that contributed to him picking up the interest in wanting to make music. This musical influence enables him to work on and shape his own style of music as time passes. He is a strong believer of the “you can never stop learning doctrine” Most of his years in Nigeria were spent within Abuja & Zaria where he lived, schooled and gained a lot of experience at a young age and that can be heard in the stories told in his music. ABiliTy has been writing and making his own music since 2002 and took a little break to focus on other aspects of life. He picked up the pen again in late 2018 and still strives to perfect his craft, he started releasing his music again in May of 2019, and since then has released 3 singles and an EP and the response from those who came across any of these projects has been remarkably positive.
