40Hz (real name Lehlogonolo Peter Mokhonoana) is an emerging hip hop artist, songwriter, record
producer and sound engineer hailing from the East Rand.He is the founder of Every Sound Is Music Inc
imprint.His inspirations range from hip hop acts Asap Rocky,Travis Scott,Mac Miller,Logic and Kendrick Lamar.
His production style is characterized by dreamy samples,
atmospheric sounds, and Heavy Low End with Punchy trap drums. His lyrical content explores themes of
mental health,socio-economic, capitalism,religion and coming of age in the urban areas. He use of poetic
metaphors and witty wordplay to paint stories with vivid details in the listeners mind.

Born on 27 May 1995 in Moshate Village.40Hz grew up mostly travelling bewteen the East Rand and Polokwane between both
his parents. In 2012 during senior high school he lived with his father,listened to about logic "Young Sinatra" mixtape
he was developed an interest in rap.Later that year he enrolled in the school’s
arts and culture program.Attending poetry session and partaking in after school cyphers to develop
his rap skills. However, His parents disapproved of his interests for pursuing a music career
deciding to take a gap year after he graduated from high school. The following year he enrolled at university of Johannesburg to study
computer science.However during the second year he dropped out to to fully focus on his music career
because of depression he felt that throughtout that year. Throughout not -attending lectures and learning how to use FL Studio program.
In 2020 he released his debut single Rush followed by several others such as "Arcadia","Nights Like These", "I Know I Pray Sometime".
He also worked behind the boards on projects of other artists; Black$oul's "Hunger Pains",where he produced the intro"Ngi"veleni",
the project tile song "Hunger Pains" and the Trumpet led outro "Sixteen Bars Till Infinity" alongside his friend, producer and audio engineer Quezzy Noel.
He also produced on Illest Dee"s debut mixtape "The Return", where he produced only four songs from the project.
He produced all the songs on the Eye C"s debut extended play "Strange" and collabrated with other acts in the local hip hop scene.

Currently 40Hz is working on releasing his debut extended play "Spiders On The Wall" and debut mixtape Ep "Radio City" project alongside a string of freestyles.
Collaborating with musicians around the world and high profile producers in the hip hop scene.
