Victoria and The Lyricist
St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada
Victoria and The Lyricist has a unique country alternative, blended with a dash of new-age country.
Vicki and Robert’s passion for writing music together formed Victoria and The Lyricist and within no time they finished writing their debut album, “Long Story Short,” set to release October 2016.
Robert (Bobby) and Victoria (Vicki), have been friends since elementary school. Vicki has held a guitar since three years old and has not laid it down. Bobby’s loved for music inspired him to start song writing along with Vicki so they formed Victoria and The Lyricist.
Their debut album is set to release October 2016 which was produced by band members of Fairgale, a band who has shared the stage with Canadian Music Legend Trooper.
Inspired by Carrie Underwood, Janis Joplin, and Fleetwood Mac, their unique mix of alternative country with new age country grasps the attention of anyone who listens. Live performances are second to none while they continue to sell out show at local theater’s and establishments.

Featured: United We Stand – JYAY feat Vicki Doyle
This love that I’ve found is promising it’s like the pulsing of my soul,The language it speaks telling me that I have stories left untold
What do I do i’m giving my story with this guitar,
always close it’s never far,If you wanna hear me tell I’ll sing it, sing it,
Nothing gets me like what it brings, hearing the rhythm of the strings, if you wanna hear me tell I’ll sing it, sing it, sing it
“Vicki Doyle of Northern Bay was singing before she could talk”
