Will O’Rear – Lead and Rhythm Guitars, Vocals

Tommy Prewitt – Drums and Percussion, Keys, Vocals

When Al Aylsworth and Tommy Prewitt started the band Flat Stanley they didn’t do so with the intention of writing original music – they just wanted to hear a band cover all their college radio faves. After a couple of years on the college circuit, they threw the switch from a cover band to all original and changed their name to Month of Sundays. A major label publishing deal and four records later, MOS left the building. They then hooked up with guitarist Will O’Rear to form The Roustabouts. The band recorded a number of demos and full-length CD “little m”. The tragic death of bassist Joe Thomas Jr in August 2012 prompted the name change to TalentShow and released a new album in 2019. Noted Nashville writer, actor, and singer/songwriter, Randall Lancaster, wrote of TalentShow’s latest group of songs: “Their songs feel a bit nostalgic for me – easy tempos juxtaposed with heavy imagery that smack of Paul Westerberg and Jakob Dylan. Al Aylsworth’s vocals are solid, wholesome, and confident yet are singularly unique, and work well with the minimal but well-placed harmonies.  Will O’Rear’s guitars are clean and crunchy, in places reminding me of Matthew Sweet, and have a sheer unapologetic authority.  Tommy Prewitt’s drumming exudes an all too rare, solid confidence that can be both heard and felt.”
