Sugar and spice and all that’s nice is how best we can describe this Caribbean beauty of the twin island of Trinidad and Tobago.  Nicole De Coteau’s musical genre ranges from Jazz, R&B, Soul & to Pop/Dance, Reggae and her home grown Soca, Pan and Parang Music. Yes, its a boiling pot of rhythms that this singer/ songwriter brings with her. Nicole is known for her wit, as she has stated the genesis of her singing came from within her mother’s womb. She’s a banker by profession which has in no way prevented her from pursuing her passion and love for music. She’s has collaborated and composed on one the very popular Soca parang album with popular artiste such as Baron, H20 Phlo, Denise Belfon and Olatunji.

Her competitive streak emerged at the Song Festival Competition with the second place winning title of the single entitled “Heavenly”; a duet  sung with Anthony Johnson.  Her performing single “Gimme Ah Sign” caught the judges too, as Nicole went on further to cap the title of Best Recording Production. The National Steel pan, the National instrument of Trinidad & Tobago did not miss out on one of Nicole’s classics with her rendition of “Pan in the Park” and “Iron Call” both compositions of Elvis Chairman with “Pan in the Park” being featured on Alvin Daniel’s Pan CD “Pan on Fire”.

Nicole’s great craft as a writer is evident in her Christmas Album “Christmas Treasures” of which she was Executive Producer. On that album her four compositions include:- The Joy of Christmas, This Christmas Day, Christmas Is Here and yes; the ever popular “Trini Christmas”; all of which continue to receive great reviews. This vibrant and high spirited performer has attributed her style and charisma while she was part of bands like “New Generation Kaylan”, Kaiso Fusion and Blue Ventures.Nicole’s biggest personal achievement is the acknowledgement and acceptance of God’s will in her life. She is very thankful to God for being her inspiration and urges everyone to follow their dreams and is noted for saying, “the sky is indeed the limit! “Nicole’s creative ability, passion and style has impacted and imprinted on Trinidad and Tobago’s culture as she continues to be an Ambassador for her music.
