Biography
Ken Hardeo was born and raised in Guyana South America. He has resided in the US for 36 years. He began playing the guitar and writing music at age 16 then switched to playing keyboards. He holds an Associates and a Bachelor’s Degree, both in Computer Engineering. Ken works in the Information Architecture space at one of the Major Banks in Charlotte, North Carolina.
His jazz background was the foundation on which he incorporated latin, pop, rock, fusion and classical musical styles in the songs he’s written. Writing, Arranging, Playing Keyboard/Guitar, Singing and Producing is one of his greatest passions in life.
Ken fulfilled the dream of a lifetime on August 8th 2008. With the help of a great team of people, he released his first CD Project titled “I Honor You” under his own record label and Publishing Company – BGH Music and Hardeo Publishing {BMI}. He wrote the lyrics to all 11 tracks, composed and arranged the music and produced the project. This was one of the major accomplishments in Ken’s life. Most notably, track 7 of the CD is titled “Don’t You Ever Give Up On Your Dreams”.
Ken also released “I Can Love You Through Anything” on May 3rd 2019 with help from his long-time friend and brother Quentin Bethea, who also co-produced and sang on the track. Ken dedicated the song to his wife Glenda and their two daughters Brianna and Brea but also wanted to sing it to the world of hurting people so he dedicated the song to the world also and, he is donating a part of the proceeds to The American Foundation For Suicide Prevention, American Cancer Society and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Charlotte
