Biography

Biography

Jessa and Jordan met in late 2013 when Jessa (then a new solo singer/songwriter) went looking for a cello playing beat-boxer. At the suggestion of a mutual friend in the music scene, she met Jordan (then a fairly well known local artist from a successful local hip-hop band Whiskey Blanket).  They immediately found  a musical chemistry and signature sound, mixing acoustic instruments (cello, guitar) with rap, singing, and production. They went to work writing and performing and spent several years performing all over Colorado and even ventured out of state and were invited to perform at a Colorado showcase during SXSW 2015, following the release of their debut album (Beauty Through Pain 2015). After their second album (Indigo 2017) they went in different directions. During that time, Jessa formed an electronic project called MINOR, and released and album (Always Falling 2019) and several singles. Jordan became the host of a popular weekly event (Re:Search Wednesdays, Cervantes’, Denver CO) where he fine tuned his electronic production and performed with many national acts. It was there that Jordan began to invite Jessa on stage again and they began to write behind the scenes. The result was their third studio release (Three 2020). They are currently releasing content (singles, videos) made in-house, and looking toward a future full of performing, connecting, and spreading their message to a wider audience through music.
