YouTube video promotion: what to expect
Category: YouTube
ArtistPR’s YouTube Video Promotion service is for an artist submitting a YouTube video for a promotion campaign. The service workflow verifies the video, starts distribution, and records the order status in the portal.
What happens after you order
The documented fulfillment starts the campaign, likes the video, and subscribes to the channel. It does not treat campaign start as completion. A separate completion check runs every 24 hours while an order is distributing. When the provider reports completion, the workflow removes the like and subscription and marks the request complete. A canceled or rejected request is returned for more information or resubmission.
No particular view count, subscriber count, engagement level, or result is promised in the available service notes.
How it works
- Open the ArtistPR services page and choose the YouTube promotion offer if it is available.
- Submit the YouTube video URL through the portal intake.
- The request is normalized and checked, then the campaign is started. The portal shows it as distributing while it is in progress.
- A completion check runs every 24 hours. If more information is needed, the portal provides the order route for a new video URL or resubmission.
- After a completed campaign, the workflow performs cleanup and marks the request complete.
What you need to provide
Provide the YouTube video URL requested by the portal. If the submitted video is not approved or information is missing, follow the portal’s resubmission instructions.
Common questions
Is the campaign complete as soon as it starts?
No. Starting distribution and completing the campaign are separate states.
How often is completion checked?
The documented completion poll runs every 24 hours. That is a status-check interval, not a promised completion time.
Are likes and subscriptions permanent?
No. The documented completion workflow removes the like and subscription during cleanup.
