ArtistPR also creates a short welcome email series for new subscribers: a few welcome messages sent automatically after someone joins your list.

1. Create your Brevo account

Go to Brevo and create an account.

Complete the account setup and confirm your email address.

In Brevo, open Settings and find API keys (sometimes shown as API Keys & MCP).

Choose Generate a new API key.

Give the key a name that helps you recognize it, such as
ArtistPR website
.

Create the key and copy it immediately. Brevo may only show the full key once.

Treat the API key like a password. Do not paste it into a public page or send it in an ordinary email.

For Brevo’s current instructions, see Create and manage your API keys.

2. Ask ArtistPR to connect Brevo

After you have the key, open the Brevo intake form in the ArtistPR portal and submit it. This lets ArtistPR connect the newsletter features to your site. The form is available after your website has been built.

3. Send a newsletter

In Brevo, go to Marketing > Campaigns, choose Create campaign, and select Email. Choose your recipients, write the subject and message, then review and schedule the campaign.

Brevo calls these one-time emails email campaigns. Its guide explains the current steps in Create and send an email campaign.

4. Edit the welcome email series

ArtistPR creates the welcome series for you. To edit it in Brevo:

Open Automations > Workflows.

Open the welcome automation.

Open the email step you want to change.

Edit the subject, sender details, or email design.

Save your changes and keep the automation active when you are ready.

The series is intended to welcome new subscribers and explain what they can expect from your emails. It is not a promise of a particular number of messages or schedule. Brevo’s welcome message guide explains how welcome automations and additional email steps work.

Log into your website admin panel.

Open the invitation email and sign in through its link.

Edit Site settings

In Pages CMS, open Site settings.

Update the fields you need. The available labels include Artist name, Tagline, Biography, Logo URL, Spotify profile image URL, Brand colors, Embed widgets, and Social links.

Use Social links for your streaming and social profiles, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), SoundCloud, Bandcamp, and the other services shown there.

Review your changes, then use Pages CMS’s Save or Publish control to save and publish them.

Your site’s contact form is part of the standard site. Do not add passwords or private credentials to the bio, links, or image fields.

Edit Releases

Open Releases.

Select a release to edit it, or use the add option to create a release when that option is available to your site.

Update Release title, Release date, Cover image URL, About this release, and the Streaming links for the release.

To control whether it appears, use Show this release on the site. Turn it off to hide the release from the site’s navigation and build.

Save or publish the change.

New releases are added automatically from your ArtistPR profile. You can edit their title, links, description, and visibility in Pages CMS; you do not need to recreate an automatically added release just to update it. The URL slug, Spotify artist ID, and ISRC fields are managed or read-only—leave them unchanged.

Pages CMS first saves your change and then publishes the site. The updated page may not appear immediately while publishing finishes; refresh the site after the publish completes. If a change still is not visible, include the site address and the page or release name when you contact us.

If you see “Site suspended (managed by agency)”

Leave Site suspended (managed by agency) unchanged. It is read-only and payment status is managed by ArtistPR. It is not a setting you can use to pause or restore the site.

Still need help? Contact us.

I can't access my website

ArtistPR client sites are edited in Pages CMS. You do not create a separate website password: staff must invite you by email.

Request an invitation

Open the ArtistPR contact form.

Tell us your site address, such as
your-name.musicprosite.com
.

Tell us the email address you want invited. Use the address you can access and want to use for Pages CMS.

Ask for a new Pages CMS invitation link.

Accept the invitation

When staff sends the invitation, open the link in that email and follow Pages CMS’s sign-in instructions. Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders if you do not see it. The invitation email is sent after staff processes the request; if it has not arrived after a reasonable wait, contact us again and include the same site address and email address.

Use the invitation email’s link rather than trying to guess an admin URL. If the link has expired or was sent to the wrong address, we can send a new invitation.

Still need help? Contact us.

How do I set up a custom domain name?

You can use a custom domain, such as
yourname.com
, after your Done-For-You website has been built. The custom-domain form is available on your order page after the build.

Update your nameservers

Sign in to the company where you bought your domain (your registrar). Common registrars include Namecheap, GoDaddy, Wix, Squarespace, and Google Domains or its replacement service.

Open the domain’s DNS or nameserver settings. Look for Nameservers, Change nameservers, or Use custom nameservers.

Replace the current nameservers with these two Cloudflare nameservers:

anderson.ns.cloudflare.com

maya.ns.cloudflare.com

Save the change.

Changing nameservers can affect other services that use your domain, such as email. Do not change individual DNS records or remove other records while making this change. If you use email on the domain and are unsure what will be affected, ask your registrar before saving.

Nameserver changes need time to propagate. Your registrar may show the change before every network can see it, so the old site or settings may continue to appear temporarily.

Tell ArtistPR

Once the nameservers are saved, submit the custom-domain form with the domain you changed. ArtistPR will check the connection and finish linking the domain to your website.

We build it from the information in your ArtistPR profile, so update your profile first at Backstage.

What’s included

A mobile-friendly music website hosted on
your-name.musicprosite.com

SSL (the secure connection used by your site)

Your artist bio, photos, streaming links, and social links from your ArtistPR profile

Pages for your releases and singles

A contact form for visitors

New release pages added automatically when you release new music

Your site is hosted for you. You do not need to install WordPress, manage a server, or arrange SSL yourself.

What is optional

After your site is built, the order page shows two optional next steps:

Connect a custom domain, such as
yourname.com

Set up a newsletter with Brevo, including a welcome email series for new subscribers

You can edit your site settings and releases through Pages CMS after staff invites you. The invitation is sent by email.

What is not included

The website does not include custom design or development work. The newsletter, ecommerce, and custom domain are not setup by default. Those are separate requests, which will be available to you after your initial website is built.

How to request your site

Update your ArtistPR profile at Backstage.

Open the Website Builder in the ArtistPR portal.

Submit the form with the one button. It uses your ArtistPR profile to prepare the site.

After the build is complete, staff sends you a Pages CMS invitation by email so you can edit the available settings and releases.

The site address and invitation details are shown on the order page when they are ready.
