Why does my Meta/Facebook Ads payment keep failing?

A failing or declined payment on your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad account is almost always something happening inside Meta’s own Business Manager — your card being declined, expired, or flagged for re-verification — not an issue with ArtistPR’s access to your account.

To check it directly:

Go to business.facebook.com/billing_hub/accounts.
Select the ad account in question and review its payment method and any billing alerts shown there.
If your card was declined, try updating or re-entering your payment method, or adding a backup payment method.

If your payment method looks fine on Meta’s side and your ad account still seems stuck, contact us and we’ll help you dig into it further.

Allow advertiser access

Go to business.facebook.com/settings/partners.
Click Add and select Give a partner access to your assets.
In the Partner business ID field, enter 4237857306303295 and click Next.
Grant advertiser permission to your Facebook Page:
- Under Requested asset types, select Pages > New Pages Experience.
- Check the box next to your page/username.
- In the permissions column, turn on Ads & Insights access.
Grant advertiser permission to your ad account:
- Under Requested asset types, select Ad accounts.
- Check the box next to your username.
- In the permissions column, turn on Manage campaigns access.
Grant advertiser permission to your Instagram account:
- Under Requested asset types, select Instagram accounts.
- Check the box next to your username.
- In the permissions column, turn on Ads & Insights access.
- Click Confirm and review in the bottom-right corner.
Click Approve request.

Go to the request link in your notification email and click Respond to request.
Click Get started, then click Next.
Grant advertiser permission to your Facebook Page:
- Under Requested asset types, select Pages > New Pages Experience.
- Check the box next to your page/username.
- In the permissions column, turn on Ads & Insights access.
Grant advertiser permission to your ad account:
- Under Requested asset types, select Ad accounts.
- Check the box next to your username.
- In the permissions column, turn on Manage campaigns access.
Grant advertiser permission to your Instagram account:
- Under Requested asset types, select Instagram accounts.
- Check the box next to your username.
- In the permissions column, turn on Ads & Insights access.
- Click Confirm and review in the bottom-right corner.
Click Approve request.
