I have also gained support from blogs such as YourEDM.com, iBroStep.com, MarshmallowGunMusic.com and countless others. I have DJ’d with a multitude of EDM royalty ranging in style from FLOSSTRADAMUS to DIGITALISM and am constantly pushing my style forward to bring the most epic experience possible to my fans.
Talk to us more about your latest release
My latest release came out via System Recordings in New York, NY. It’s a hypnotizing, bass heavy deep house track title “Thump N Bump” that also includes an awesome remix from House artist Catnapped. Available here – https://www.beatport.com/release/thump-n-bump/1772493
What inspired you to write this release?
This release was inspired by driving through downtown Los Angeles at 3am. The neon drenched look of the uncrowded downtown streets and the vastness of the concrete sprall inspired me to make a bass saturated track that is chill and powerful at the same time.
Any plans to release a video?
None yet as I have been focusing on my next release but a cartoon video of driving through downtown would be really sick.
Any plans to hit the road?
I am currently in production with drummer Sean Winchester to push forward our collaboration called Skoolyard which we will be doing some upcoming shows in the LA area. Touring beyond that is something we are going to figure out as the demand builds.
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
You just have to do you. Be the best you that you can be and grow your presence through your unique take on life.
Who have you been listening to lately?
Bro Safari, Getter, Dillon Francis, Zomboy, Wheeler Waker Jr!
Tell us about your passions
I work in the licensing side of music as well for an awesome company called Songtradr. We help musicians get all their music sorted out digitally and then give them a way to license it in tv/film/commercials/phone apps/etc. I’m also a big time whiskey lover and my lady and I make our own hot sauces as well.
Thanks for an awesome interview, Ben!
