Tell us about yourself and your music

Honestly, I grew up listening to all genres of music. My music gives you a soul/blues, hip-hop type vibe. Last I’m the type of person that won’t take no for an answer so regardless of my circumstances I just keep pushing to put mine all into my craft which makes it so authentic & rare.

Talk to us more about your latest release

My latest release (No Game/The Get Back) I came up with about a year ago will always be special to me. I was at a point in my life where I felt like I’ve been done wrong even when I gave my all, speaking relationships & in general. The anger, pain & sorrow gave me all or nothing energy that I put into the song.

What inspired you to write this release?

During the time wrote I this release I just had this voice in my head telling me “man you can either let what you going through break you or turn it into something creative”. It was that moment that gave me the motivation to do what I had to.

Describe the writing and recording process

The writing process was pretty fast. I booked my session a week prior, but at the time all I had was the beat. While on the way to the studio I had this melody in my head which is the beginning verse. I arrived, went into the studio as they played the beat the rest followed.

Any plans to hit the road?

Not at the moment.

As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?

As an upcoming indie artist, I brand my music sort of soulful mixed with rap/hip-hop. It’s times that I express my happiness & it’s also times that I express my sadness & anger. So you can expect a mixture of laid back heartfelt songs with a mixture of hype heartbreak & anger but falls in perfect. I try my best to put my personality into my music so I feel that would make me stand out from the rest in the most humble way.

Who have you been listening to lately?

Lately, I’ve been listening to the late great Nipsey Hussle. I feel like he inspired me to start from the jump years ago.

Who are your biggest influences?

When comes to influences I’d have to say Tupac, Nipsey & Biggie influenced me a lot. I just feel like they passed on so much knowledge for the generations to come.

Tell us about your passions

I’ve always had passions for songwriting, rapping, singing & becoming an actor.

What else is happening next in your world?

Currently, I am finishing up my EP (The Setback). I’m confident that it will make a great impression on those listening.
