Tell us about yourself and your music
I am an independent filmmaker who’s transitioning from film to music because I fell in love with the process of making music when I was putting together the score and the soundtrack to my first independent feature film titled “Beneath The Landslide.” My music transcends through many genres from Grunge, Dance, Reagaton to Ballads, and Hip Hop, so I dub it genreless. It is comprised of songs in English, Spanish and Fritalienish {which is a 45% French 45% Italian (which I am teaching myself and turning it into its language) sprinkled with 10% Spanish}. It will also feature 6 different vocal ranges who will, in turn, become their characters with names and backstories.
Talk to us more about your latest release
I’m excited about my solo debut album “Pet $lave Wanted (13+ Si Vous Plait)” which is coming out this winter. It will feature all four languages with the six voices across them. I have recently released 4 instrumentals in 4 different genres; Atlantians, Imperial America, Kool Calm n Cool~ected, and Raving Lunateek to all major streaming services so people can get an idea of where my music is headed.
The night before the release of “Pet $lave Wanted” I will be performing the album in its entirety along with 10 cover songs as an encore. This will be my very first live performance.

What inspired you to write this release?
Pet $lave Wanted is like an extension of me and what I’ve gone through the past few years. I honestly have always used writing as a release mechanism just had to redirect it from scripts/ short stories into songs.
I was very angry towards certain people who have wronged me and this was the healthiest most productive way I could think of to get it out of my system. I believe it will show in the songs.
Describe the writing and recording process
I have two types of techniques for writing songs. The first is an emotion or complain about something that I’m trying to get out of my system. The second is taking bits and pieces of all the songs that are meaningful to me, which I love and making them all into my song.
When I’m recording I go through various tempos and voices trying to find the right ones for the right tracks in both flow and type of vocal range.
Any plans to release a video?

Any plans to hit the road?
That is the main goal after performing the night of releasing “Pet $lave Wanted” in its entirety along with 10 cover songs, hoping to develop a buzz about my live performances. My music will be good, don’t get me wrong, but Jah Riae$ Ear will be something to experience life, think Marilyn Manson meets Michael Jackson. I am planning to hit the road and start performing pop-up shows, I am very partial to how Prince use to conduct his performances.
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
By being me, unapologetically me. I also don’t think anybody English, Spanish, and Fritaliaenish. Not to mention 6 different vocal ranges, as 6 different characters, spanning across the 4 languages. My music will also be very real and personal and I think people will be able to connect to it.
Who have you been listening to lately?
My top 10 songs on repeat right now are Marilyn Manson’s “3rd Day of a 7-day Binge”- Israel Vibrations’ “My Master’s Will”- Garbage’s “#1 Crush” – C-Kan “Somos De Barrio” – Gerry Cinnamon’s “Sometimes” – Disturbed’s “No More – Caifanes’ “Te Estoy Mirando” – Alika’s “Ejercito Despierta”
Father John Misty’s “Mr. Tillman – Nirvana’s “Sliver.” Although a couple of months ago it was all about She Wants Revenge
Who are your biggest influences?
Nirvana, Placebo, Caifanes, and Marilyn Manson whom I am modeling my musical performance and artistry after. Those would be the top ones but I have countless others as well. I am a firm believer in wearing my influences on my sleeve. I love singing songs that I like and are meaningful to me. I go out of my way to learn what I’m singing. I have a repertoire of over 100 songs in my head from which I know at least 75% of said songs.
Tell us about your passions
I love traveling and exploring new cultures. I am passionate about creating art in all of its forms from film to print and everything in between. I’m also an avid chess player, though I’m not the best at it, I do love to play it. I’m also passionate about enlightening people and influencing others into bettering themselves.
And of course the potential of meeting that next Pet $lave, which is always Wanted.
What else is happening next in your world?
As of this moment that I am writing this, I’m about to embark on a journey of sorts, I am moving out of the place where I am living tonight in San Diego, CA and start heading south see how far my White Lightning (and the Thunder) will take me. I have not explored or South America as I have Western Europe and have just recently been allowed to do so and I am not in the habit of missing out on an opportunity to have a good time. Instead of finding a new place to live, I will try to find myself again, out there.
