Tell us about yourself and your music
I’m a 21-year-old singer-songwriter born and raised in Houston Texas. I currently go to school in New Orleans where I record all my music. I’ve been writing for the past four years and singing since I could walk.
Talk to us more about your latest release
My latest release was my EP “Hopeless Romantic”. This is my first full projects and it took me all year to complete. It tells the story of falling in love with the wrong person and having to let them go.
What inspired you to write this release?
I wanted to tell the story of my relationship with my ex. I fell hard, she wasn’t right for me, and I had to walk away. The songs we not written about her except for “Beautiful One” which I wrote while we were dating. But I wrote all the other songs at different times before and after the relationship and they all fit together so well it was kind of a beautiful coincidence.
Describe the writing and recording process
When I write I get on the piano and first decide what riff or progression I wanna use. Then I mess around with different melodies just freestyling ideas until something hits. Then once I have the hook I’ll slow it down and step away from the piano remembering the melody in my head and then I write the lyrics for the verses and all other parts.
Recording this EP was an awesome experience because I’m self-taught On piano and hadn’t started playing until this year. And I took what little knowledge I had and played every instrument on the first three songs of this ep by myself. Then with “Come Back Angel” we had a whole band come into a record and that was an amazing experience as well.
Any plans to hit the road?
Not currently with this COVID situation but I’m writing an album and preparing a setlist for when the world opens up again.
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
I have learned to be unapologetically true to myself. I have a pretty specific image that I have created and the cover art for this album is the best representation of that and I just write from the heart and am as genuine as I can be.

Tell us about your passions
I used to be very big on sports and even played D1 football for a year. But now I like to write and sing of course and I love marvel movies and I’m still a huge sports fan just not playing anymore.
What else is happening next in your world?
Writing an album and just trying to stay creative.
