Tell us about yourself and your music

We all have heard many use the phrase “last of a dying breed” but never have we witness it being so evident in any artist until…DA INVISIBLE MAN. One look into his eyes you can instantly see they are cold, dark, and hold no emotion. DA INVISIBLE MAN says his “life has been one big memorable movie script”. Filled with action comedy romance horror etc, henceforth naming his album “(DA MEMOIRS) “The FIRST CHAPTER”.

Born of Panamanian/African-American descent. This Brooklynite has seen his share of life hustling on the streets starting at the tender age of 8 years old. He was raised around New York City’s most notorious figures. This while coming from a broken single parent home would be inevitable that the Pimps, Drug Dealers, & Number Runners would play key roles in the decision of the life he chose. Though some may say His role models lacked positive qualities. DA INVISIBLE MAN says he is thankful for the morals and values they instilled inside of him… DA INVISIBLE MAN is the real deal. The Man, The Myth, The Legend In the Making History!!

Currently in the studio working on a new project titled “TOLDYALLUKANTSEEME”. DA INVISIBLE MAN was shot in the torso and had to be rushed to the hospital. It was during surgery DA INVISIBLE MAN died twice and had to be brought back to life. Instantly DA INVISIBLE MAN knew he was here for a reason. “Everyone says I’m here for a reason and I have a purpose. I agree and believe what God bless no man shall curse. This is my dream and all I have to share with the world. Maybe someone can learn from my mistakes and be better than I was. My music tells tales of growing up trying to overcome being a statistic. This is my way out the streets.” DA INVISIBLE MAN has definitely experienced some hardships and if music is his therapy. Then I’m gonna listen and you should too.

His sound is that of a veteran MC but with the ability to go with the times and innovative enough to set trends. The music is the soundtrack track of many walks of life varying from his own personal experiences to 2nd & 3rd person observation. Storytelling at its best.

Talk to us more about your latest release

I SEE THE SUN SHINING- ft Niya B & Krissy was a song I wrote referencing the frustration I was having struggling as an up and coming to MC, and witnessing a group of my peers whom I know personally get on almost effortlessly while I was stuck in the hood becoming a statistic waiting for my chance to receive my big break.

What inspired you to write this release?

I was going through some dark times suffering from depression & past healing from a gunshot wound that nearly took my life. While healing I was hearing some of my peers were getting signed to major deals and making noise in the game while I was healing up. I wrote this song to motivate myself to push forward and don’t let my current situation define my future. As well as remind me there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Describe the writing and recording process

I had linked with a new producer by the name of Maine Streets who I began working with. During one of our meetings, he played this alternative type of vibe that spoke to me instantly. I knew from there I just wanted to tell my truths. So I wrote what I was feeling and wanted to give the listeners a little background of where I coming from and where I was going. I wrote the whole song but knew I needed a distinctive voice on the chorus.  Dj Krissy was a radio Dj in the Atlanta area, whose daughter was this up & coming artist named Niya B whose voice had this level of pain that I felt would be dope on this particular record. so I had her and her mother come to the studio to work on this song. I lucked up because they both gave their vocals and helped me create a dope song that actually tells my story.

Any plans to release a video?

Any plans to hit the road?

Yes, once this pandemic is over. But I have something in the works dates to be announced.

As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?

I take my career seriously. So I make sure I complete paperwork for everything. I live my truths so it translates through my music. I make it my business to not follow any trends. My Aquarius mind won’t allow me to. I try my best not to sound like anyone else.  I’m an artist with creative freedom so I dare to be different as well uphold the true essence of the craft. Have your hands in everything that helps to brand you and solidify your position in this game.

Who have you been listening to lately?

I’ve been listening to artists from all over. Bam Vito, Fleeego, Mitchell Leading that whole Gangtivity, Slick Fif, Marz Money, Tazz, Five Foreign, Pop Smoke ( God bless the dead) 22gz, Coach Da Ghost, Dopeboy Ra, HoneyKomb Brazy, Wack Duse, Jr Layz, Vvs Verbal, Qu- Amazon Most, BottemLine, Roddy Riich, Lil Baby, Goodie Supreme, Slum Brady, and a few others I can’t think of

Who are your biggest influences?

My biggest influences were Rakim, Big Daddy Kane,  LL Cool J, Kool G Rap, Krs One, Run DMC. Biggie 2pac, Public Enemy, NWA, Scarface, Outkast, basically everybody that before me.

Tell us about your passions

Music and acting. I love being creative or being of the arts. It’s always been a life long dream to get these fields. Making music is my destiny and acting is a plus that helps brand my whole celebrity.

What else is happening next in your world?

In the process of releasing my long-awaited sophomore project “TOLDYALLUKANTSEEME” release date to be announced. I will be dropping singles in between that to hold the fans over.  I also have a couple of movie projects I was fortunate to be involved in. One in particular “Bully” The dead don’t die: directed by Alex Hugo and written by Tanzania Hughes. Also working on a movie soundtrack for a vampire film named “Land Without Shadows” written and directed by William Murray. I have an ep on its way name ” Road 2 Perdition” and “Da Memoirs (2nd Chapter). Just follow me & stay tuned in.
