Tell us about yourself and your music
Hello, my name is Dini Dee, that is my stage name. I am an Italian / American rock and roll singer from Cranston Rhode Island. I have been performing music for at least thirty years. My influences are, the blues, dating back to Muddy Waters and legendary rock bands such as the Beatles, Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin. I have sung with different bands in my musical career, performing oldies cover songs of various artists such as Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry and other cover tunes of various rock bands of the sixties era. It was only recent that i have decided to compose lyrics and music of my own original songs.
Talk to us more about your latest release
Actually, my latest release is my album, titled, Island Rollin. It is a ten song album, with the eighties rock and roll sound. All of the songs on the album are my own original music with the eighties rock sound.

What inspired you to write this release?
Actually, i have been inspired to write my own music since i first began singing cover tunes. In fact, i have written my own songs many years ago, but it was only recent that i have decided to record in a professional recording studio, and publish my own music. I feel that performing music from other artists has had a tremendous influence on me to compose my own music.
Describe the writing and recording process
The writing and recording process was a great psychological feeling for me, especially in the professional recording studio. While i was recording my own original tracks, i have felt a sense of accomplishment, and said to myself, ” Hey, i am doing this and i feel great” That great feeling was even greater when my tracks were completely recorded, and listening to my own voice with my own music was a sense of extreme ecstasy that i never could have imagined.

Any plans to hit the road?
No plans to hit the road yet. I have just released my original tracks in October 2019, i don’t have a sufficient fan base, and still considered an unknown. So far, i don’t have enough exposure to take me to the touring level yet.
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
I really don’t know if my music will stand out among the other artist in the mainstream circuit. It is really to early to tell at this point. I don’t know if the general public / fan base would like the eighties style back again in today’s music circuit.
Who have you been listening to lately?
I actually have been listening to my own music lately, and working on composing more songs for future releases.
Who are your biggest influences?
My biggest influences in the music world would definitely be the oldies rock and roll bands of yesteryear.
Tell us about your passions
I feel that composing music is the greatest passion for me, and definitely gives me a sense of accomplishment, and that i am worth something.
What else is happening next in your world?
Just working and composing music in my spare time.
