24-year-old Female Rapper who embrace her Natural from Fro to Toe, pursuing the Dream, starting writing Poetry at 11 and started putting it to Rap at the age of12 and recorded my first song at 13,” Swagger So Mean”, it was popular among my peers on My Space days.
I am from Maryland, many people think I am from LA because of my name, LALovetheBoss, but it is my first and middle Initials, Lauryn Alease, “Love” is for my passion of Music and” Boss” stands for Building On Self Success. At 15 my mother and I, who Manages my Career, decided to go after my dream of me becoming a Big Rap Artist, we took off from Maryland and moved down to Atlanta. That was crazy in itself, I will fill you in more in my Book to come later.
My Music is everything to me, I get to express myself through my writing, it’s my passion. I became very popular on Social Media with my looks being a Natural girl with a Fro and wearing little makeup, most of the time no make up. I have over 2.7M followers on IG and all of my sites are popping. I became a Star on Social Media, I Monetize off my Brand and Invest that back into my music career and take care of my family, that’s what a Real Boss does. I am a Music Artist, Sag Actress, and an Influencer. I appeared in the Movie the After Party along side of Teyanna Taylor, Kyle and many more known Stars in 2018, it was a Great experience. I have shot over 8 movies, in 2019 soon to be released 2020 and 2 came out this year 2019. People may think this Model turned Music Artist but that is so far from the truth, I am a Music Artist First that had the opportunity to make money on my Brand and Finance my Music Career.
So through everything going on in the Entertainment Business and making Money on my Brand, I continually worked on my Music and found my sound I want to present to the World. My new EP is called “How I Do It”, I named it that because I work Independently and Invest in my self and not wait for anyone to tell me I can’t. I am a Rapper with dope content, I have some Sexy and something to say, my name has Boss in it for a reason, my sound is Bossy, Sexy and I put some Melodies on it, by the way, I write all of my Bars.

The Release of my new EP, “How I Do It”, I wanted to give my audience a peek of how I do it, Club Bangers and a Bossy Vibe. My EP will be released on all Platforms, iTunes, Tidal, Google Play, Spotify…Dec,12th pre-order for 2.99, Dec,13th Full release 5.99.
I worked with 5 different Grammy Nominated Producers, so the sounds are amazing, they are real records, not just rapping over a track, the Production is sick.

What inspired you to write this release?
I was inspired to put this Body of work out after I had gone through some life experiences and being comfortable in my skin, I wanted to be authentic about what I write about. It was time, my audience was ready.
Describe the writing and recording process
My writing Process is inspired by the Track, I will instantly start writing in my head if the Track makes me feel something. I can complete a Song on the spot if I’m feeling the track, it does not matter who is around, I get in my zone. I love writing lyrics on my phone, I go over everything once I’m done writing, the feelings just pour out to the screen.

As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
As an Indie Artist, I am very popular for just who I am through my Brand, many Celebrities follow my movement as well as my day one fan, so I’m very humbled by that. So far as my Music and how I stand out among so many Indies is through putting out Great Production and being consistently active on my Sites. I have my Sound, I am not trying to be like everyone else but my Authentic Self, those who feel will ride with me, I do it for my Fans.
Who have you been listening to lately?
I have been listening to the current Artists Doja Cat, Drake, and Jhene Aiko, I’m feeling them right now. The main Music I listen to is the 70’s and 80’s R&B Soul and Funk, I’m such an old Soul.
Who are your biggest influences?
My big Influencers are Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill, Andre 3000 and Ludacris, they inspire me to be all of me, and not to be afraid to be different.
Tell us about your passions
My passion, of course, is Music and Writing and to be able to make a living doing that would be awesome. Outside my Music my other Passion is Family and Friends, I Love to Love. Giving back is a Big Passion of mines, my Grand Father was a Vet who Passed 2 years ago, he was such a believer in me and inspired me in so many ways, I am giving back to help with the Children of Vets, this is so dear to my heart.
What else is happening next in your world?
My next World or should I say my next Phase, I am very excited to Put out my Music and go on Tour, it will be so great to see my Fans Singing along with me my Music and meeting them. I also have some Big Movies coming out 2020, New Clothing Line and some Business Adventures. My Mother Raised a Boss, got to keep expanding but enjoy the Fruits of Labor, stay grounded.
