My Name is Edward .M. Wade#Maurice The Ghetto Decon” I was born in Chicago Illinois & Raised in Rosedale Mississippi The Mid-Delta, At the age of 12’ve I attend EastWood Jr High School in Cleveland Ms where I formed the first Rap Group called The 5’Mcs 1983-1984 We did Open Mic Showcases all around the state performing for The NAACP, The Head Start Program And Many More Acts in which we won multiple Contests And Awards, Over the years into my Music career After High School Graduation in 1990 I launched out doing Solo acts from Rochester New York To Atlanta, Georgia Where I Landed a Marketing Distribution Deal with Bentley Records, My Music is very Motivational, Inspirational, Encouraging, & Uplifting, Every word is written with deep creative Thoughts to reach the Youth And all people who are struggling on a day to day basis trying to Survive in 2017 I Perform and received Outstanding Rap Performance Award from Ruby Talent Production In Stockbridge, Ga.

My Latest release is Called ” I’m Up Now”The Single discuss The Lifestyle of a poor man who is homeless And is Doing everything he can to make a way Under Pressure Without any financial support And by Hustling He finds his way to the Top.
What inspired you to write this release?
I came up in Poverty In The Southern Mississippi Mid-Delta Were getting a job was rare and obtaining Food was on a first come first serve basis I’ve always been Hustling trying to find A way to get me and my family out the Ghetto So I stayed on my GRIND until I came up.
Describe the writing and recording process
- When I started writing this song I was I’m at home thinking about all the Trials and tribulations I’ve endured over the years, it took one week to finish the song before we started recording Which took only two hours.
Any plans to hit the road?
Yes I have plans to go on tour with Bentley Records This Summer Sometime in Early June and if not this summer maybe around fall.
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
I give out CDs, T-Shirts And pass out a lot of business cards when I’m performing I always am Oringal it helps because originality is the best way to market yourself.
Who have you been listening to lately?
I have been listening to a lot of old schools Hip Hop artists like Chuck.D from the public enemy, Zu-Lu Nation, Poor Righteous And X Clan.
Who are your biggest influences?
People who are Spiritual Awaking And All Rappers that write Positive Music in today’s Rap era trying to reach the youth.

I have a passion to write Rhymes Since I was a child coming up I always Loved Listening to music Good Gospel, The Blues, SOUL & DISCO
