Tell us about yourself and your music
Currently, I remain a solo endeavor: I perform all instruments and vocals to create Count Drawko sound recordings, mastering, etc., in my private studio.
I create musical soundtracks to sing to (or vice versa…sometimes I think of the vocals first). Anyway, for the Metal Albums, I mainly play Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Electric Bass, Percussion, and Sing…the Meditational Albums have brought in Keyboards and involved a wide variety of acoustic instruments like Tree Chimes, Bells, and Gongs…and there are exceptions…
I used a Compound Bow to create the sound of arrows firing for The Gorgon in my latest Metal Album, Revelations…similar to the archery sounds featured in Kuji Kiri, the Second Meditational Album including blowgun sounds firing darts into targets, a Ninja To sword slicing through the air, etc.
There are more surprises on the latest Meditational, Envision, pertaining to the integration of acoustic and electric instrumentations…including the further use of objects that might not be considered to be musical instruments:
Like the firing up of torches that I used to create sound effects in Track 4 on Envision, Evette.
Plus my reverence for animals is shown with the Howling of Wolves in Sapphire, Envision Track 6. In like fashion, the Cobra Serpent sounds on Dead Curtain Track 2 Cobra, the Tigress Roars on the Cosmic CD Track 6 Spirit of the Tigress…I personally sing out a Rooster call with Invention, Track 2 from Envision.

I write all my own music and lyrics…although I have had many inspirations along the way, I always strive to create original works of my own so as to make sure I am coming up with something new straight from my heart and my soul…something I am proud of and that I pray others will respect as well.

What inspired you to write this release?
It was the next step in my continuing mission to be the best musician that I can be for my fellow persons of the Earth.

I just finished percussion, bass, and rhythm guitar for track 1 on Good Evil, my next Metal Album #8, and next up is the lead guitar and vocals.
