Tell us about yourself and your music
Well, to get started I am 26 years old, born and raised in Rochester NY. I have lived in many different cities and states, which gives me the flexibility I have with my music, the ability to switch up, or turn the tables all the way. I am a man of many talents, but all in all, they show in my music.
My music is for anyone, you could driving up a road or on your way to drop the kids off. The energy I provide is raw and authentic, anyone can groove to my sound. I might sound like I’m jumping the gun here but, I’m a musician that will one day be a household name around the world
Talk to us more about your latest release
Ran Off(Circa), a big drip only when you are listening to this record. I honestly feel the track speaks for itself, but to dwell deeper into my mindset behind this l, as stated before it’s the NY lifestyle, we’re brought up tough and taught that we have to get out and get to it. From the calm nature to the points where I turn up, if you have never come up off a stain in real life, I will make you feel like you have. But don’t forget to run that TRACK BACK!!! Yeah!!!
What inspired you to write this release?
Whenever I write any track/ record, I write from a time in life I either directly have done things or, I was part of the actions being had. Everything I put down inspiration wise, are all past experiences.
Describe the writing and recording process
Ok so my writing process consists of me finding the sound I want, then I usually sit on it for an hr up to a week until my soul finds the first word & then it’s murder she wrote from there, like the words flow after I find my first line.
Recording, now this is a different situation, remember when Michael Jackson first performed the moonwalk? And Chris Brown followed it up almost 30 years later, for me they’re performances were captivating, they left people in awe. So whenever I approach my microphone to even utter a note or a rhyme I’m giving 110% of my soul to you guys. Plus I was always taught if you are going to do something, make sure you do it right.
Any plans to release a video?
Any plans to hit the road?
With all the mess happening in the world and to my people right now is not the best time to be in the wind. But if God has it in store for me to be around the masses I won’t share from it.
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
There is a lot of talented hard-working artist in every corner of the globe. But where do I stand out? I’m not like any of the people you listen to on your favorite station, yet you can relate to me. No matter how your day may be going, turn one of my songs on I bet I brighten up your day. Play me at a party I bet I get everyone moving in there, I just bring the energy we have been missing in the game.
Who have you been listening to lately?
I listen to everything. Pop, rock, dance, alternative, RnB, hip hop, you name it. I bet my playlist has it.
Who are your biggest influences?
Chris Brown, Michael Jackson, James Brown, Queen, future, young thug, Vybz Kartel, popcaan, Franky Lymon, Jackie Wilson, etc
Tell us about your passions
Outside of music I have a life for electronics, I have built like two gaming PC’s, I own a ps4 and Xbox one. On the side of music again I own like 6 different subwoofers. I just love electronics.
What else is happening next in your world?
I and the team are planning a video release for ran off, it’s gonna be great stay tuned it’s not something you want to miss out on.
