Tell us about yourself and your music

I am a lifelong lover of music and a self-taught musician. I write and can play/record using traditional stringed guitars and bass, acoustic drums, and DAW programs and plugins for recording mixing/mastering. I wrote and performed for 10+ years in an indie touring band before packing things up and getting “serious” with life. Our music deals with day to day life challenges and can offer ear/heart pricking tunes in varying frequencies and genres that will lead you to a deeper need for knowledge not based on the trivial things of this world. We stand opposed to contemporary music that is designed to give you a brief adrenaline charge before leaving you feeling even more empty and unfulfilled. As contemporary music turns darker TGE’s music stands ever more exposed by the light.

Talk to us more about your latest release

Our latest release, March To Crumbling, is comprised mainly of a biblically-based theme. These tracks encompass many situations that listeners (including us) may have found themselves having questions on when they slow down enough to reflect on their daily lives.
This release was one of the hardest projects to bring to fruition, that we have ever dealt with, due to CPU failures, equipment problems, and glitches that popped up randomly for no apparent reason.

What inspired you to write this release?

I was inspired to write something that would shed a positive message to its listener.

The mainstream music message currently is dark and leaves a person full of unanswered questions, confusion, and despair.

Describe the writing and recording process

We write and record from a mish-mash of daily occurrences, mixed with a Cajun-style roux of music notations, all duck-taped together lyrically with a non-auto-tuned vocal.  As real as you can get “pie-yow”

Then mixed through one those fancy computer things via Sonar Platinum and mastered via Ozone 9.

Any plans to release a video?

Any plans to hit the road?

Currently, we have no plans of touring in support of this release.

As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?

It is Left-handed music for a Right thinking mind.

We steer clear of most trendy sounds and features in the mainstream to keep/be original.

Who have you been listening to lately?

The wind in my hair, and my garden vegetable plants…,

Who are your biggest influences?

My wife.., God (Yahweh, Jesus)

Tell us about your passions

Killing and eating boiled crawfish.

What else is happening next in your world?

Getting through the present COVID-19 “crisis”
