Tell us about yourself and your music
I came from a musical family. I have cousins who are musicians that only experiment with either Zydeco, R&B, or Rap. My music is somewhat experimental in a way. I still try to focus on R&B but sometimes I might incorporate Dance and Pop music to make my music more upbeat in a way.
Talk to us more about your latest release
My Latest Single is “To Hold Control”. It’s about taking control of your relationship and keeping it steady.
What inspired you to write this release?
I was inspired by my own relationships. I felt like I wasn’t taking control of my relationships at all. My ex-girlfriends broke up with me because of this. So this inspired me to write the song.
Describe the writing and recording process
I began writing the song and recorded in one day. I was just writing everything that was in my mind. When I started recording the song, I watched The Lord Of The Rings a lot and I loved it because of its music. So that’s why I created an Orchestral Intro to the song and it repeats at the end. I was also listening to a lot of 2000s Hip-Hop so the fast drumming in the song is inspired by that. Also, I recorded the guitar part and distorted it to be out of this world.
Any plans to release a video?
I don’t have any plans to make a music video but I did make a visualizer for the song.
Any plans to hit the road?
No Plans to hit the road, just take care of the business home.
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
I make movies based on my music and adding myself to popular sites such as Genius.
