Tell us about yourself and your music
I’m a 16 year old artist from Fort Worth, Texas who writes, produce and perform my own music. Each song has a different feeling to it in hope that it caters to multiple types of people.
Talk to us more about your latest release
My latest release entitled “Hiroshima” is about my planning on making a huge mark on the industry. I tried to give it a New York feel in the production and lyrics using a heavy amount of wordplay and metaphors.
What inspired you to write this release?
I felt no one was taking my music seriously therefore I wrote this song in order to show that I plan on taking over the industry.
Any plans to release a video?
This being the single off of my mixtape “Est. 2000” (dropping March 25) I plan to drop a video for it very soon
Any plans to hit the road?
Not yet but they’re soon to come.
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
Growing up in a Christian household I chose not to use profanity in my music. Also I don’t speak on things degrading, or anything illegal and my music has more of a positive feel to it.
Who have you been listening to lately?
Lately I’ve been listening to Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q and Vince Staples. I’ve been really digging the music coming from the West Coast.
Tell us about your passions
Besides music I’m into designing clothes. I always wanted to own my own clothing line named after my group Rev Era.
What else is happening next in your world?
Well I plan on launching my clothing line this year and dropping my mixtape.
